Routes 1 & 1A - A140 roadworks - Swainsthorpe - diversion on some journeys

22nd - 31st May 2025

Due to the ongoing roadworks on the A140 at Swainsthorpe and substantial delays these are causing the following journeys will be diverted.
11:10 (1A) Norwich to Diss and 12:05 (1) Diss to Norwich will both be diverted between Ipswich Road (City College) and Long Stratton via Stoke Holy cross and Hempnall.
Newton Flotman, Swainsthorpe, Tuckswood (Tesco & ASDA) will not be served on these journeys.
ALL other journeys on the 1 & 1A will continue to operate normal route.
We would like to apologise for the disruption to your bus service whilst these works are taking place.

Routes 3, 3B, 3C, 4, 5B, 6, 60 - Cringleford bus interchange - Tuesday 6th May until further notice

6th May 2025 onwards

Due to road widening and junction improvement work at Roundhouse Way/A11 roundabout, the bus stops at Cringleford bus interchange will be part suspended to allow for safe working.
Stops B & C will be moved with the following changes to stopping arrangements:
ALL buses towards the Hospital (3, 3B, 3C, 4, 5B, 6, 60) will depart from STAND A as will routes 6 & 60 towards Norwich City Centre.
A temporary bus stop will be located on Roundhouse Way and will be served by ALL buses from the Hospital towards the City Centre.
HETHERSETT ACADEMY buses - both routes 5B & 6 will depart from the temporary stop on Roundhouse Way.
