Temporary traffic lights - Dereham - Yaxham Road - diversion on routes 4, 8, 11 & 12

Today 10:32 - 12th Jun 2026

Due to temporary lights on Yaxham Road (Halfords), buses will be on diversion due to traffic congestion in the immediate area.
Routes 4, 8 and 11- towards Dereham Market Place will divert along South Green re-joining normal routes at High Street
Routes 8 & 11 towards Toftwood will divert via Swaffham Hill, Drayton Hall Lane and A47 re-joining normal route at Shipdham Road
Route 12 to Moorgate will operate via Southend (not the seaside resort) in both directions.
Route 4 towards Norwich will operate via Norwich Road, Eckling Grange and A47 re-joining normal route at Dereham Tesco.

Bus stops at Halfords, Swan Road, Dereham Library, Morrisons, John Bates Close are unable to be served at this time.
We would like to apologise for this unacceptable level of disruption caused by these unexpected roadworks, we are currently working with Norfolk County Council highways to establish how long these are going to be place.

Service 19 - unable to serve North Tuddenham until further notice

27th Apr 2026 onwards

Due to National Highways works to upgrade the A47 to a dual carriageway, they have implemented a full road closure on Lyng Road, between Lyng & North Tuddenham.

As a result, service 19 will operate via Elsing, the A1067 & B1077 through Swanton Morley and will not be able to serve stops in North Tuddenham as a result. All other stops will be served as normal.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to your journey.

BRACONDALE - service 65 diverted to avoid roadworks delays

Today 11:56 - 9th Jun 2026

Due to an emergency road closure on King Street causing delays along Bracondale, service 65 will be operating on diversion to avoid as much congestion as possible.

Services will operate via City Road/Long John Hill and will consequently be unable to serve the regular stops for County Hall. Any passengers for County Hall are advised to alight along City Road, where there are pathways available for pedestrian access to County Hall.

We will update as soon as the road closure on King Street has been lifted.
