    • Norfolk & Norwich Hospital - affecting routes 3, 3B, 3C, 4, 6B (Hethersett Academy) & 512 - continuing disruption to bus services.

      18th - 25th Jan 2025

      Due to multiple road works in the South West Norwich area, including the Colney lane roundabout part closure, bus services serving the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital are subject to continuing disruption, especially during peak periods.
      Our drivers are doing all they can to maintain timetables however this is not alway possible due to the volume of traffic congestion in the area.
      For those with Hospital appointments etc please allow extra time for your journey.
      We would like to apologise for the level of disruption these works are having on our services and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

    • Routes 3, 4, 6 - Colney Lane roundabout closure - Monday 6th until Sunday 26th January 2025 (UPDATED)

      6th - 26th Jan 2025

      Due to the part closure of the Colney Lane roundabout (outside the N&N Hospital) buses will not be able to access the N&N Hospital from the Cringleford (Roundhouse Way) direction.
      Buses on routes 3, 4 and the 6's that serve the N&N Hospital will be diverted between the N&N Hospital and Newmarket Road via Watton Road or Hethersett Lane, Thickthorn junction and Newmarket Road Road in both directions.
      Journeys that usually serve the UEA will continue to do so as normal.
      Bus stops along Roundhouse Way or Cringleford bus interchange will not be served.
      All other route 6 buses will continue to serve Cringleford bus interchange as normal.
      Journey times may increase as a result of this diversion, please allow extra time for your journeys.
      We would like to apologise for the disruption to your bus service, we are working with the N&N Hospital and Norfolk Highways to limit the current delays and to restore a normal service as quickly as possible.

    • School bus 6B - Eaton & Cringleford to Hethersett Academy - amended route due to Colney Lane closure - 7th January until further notice

      7th Jan 2025 onwards

      Due to the closure of the Colney Lane roundabout an amended route and timetable will be in operation on the school bus 6B to Hethersett Academy.
      The following pick ups will take place:
      Eaton, Cellarhouse - 08:06, Cringleford, Green - 08:10, Colney Lane, Cringleford Heights - 08:15, Roundhouse Way, adjacent to Dragonfly Way (Tesco) - 08:17, Cringleford bus interchange 08:20 and then Hethersett Academy 08:30 - LITTLE MELTON will not be served.
      PLEASE NOTE the pick up point at Dragonfly Way is on the TESCO side of the road.
      The PM return journeys will follow the same diversion.

    • Routes 11B & 502 - peak period diversion due to congestion at Magdalen Gates

      27th Nov 2024 onwards

      Following the closure of Waterloo Road for junction improvement works, displaced traffic using Magdalen Road has caused significant peak period delays. In order to prevent disruption to buses coming from Sprowston the following journeys on the 11B & 502 will be diverted between Sprowston Road and Upper King Street via Silver Road, Bull Close Road and Palace Street. These are the 08:45 (11B) Sprowston Tesco to City Centre and the 08:05, 08:25, 08:45 & 09:05 (502) Sprowston P&R to City Centre
      A temporary bus stop will be located on Bull Close Road in lieu of Anglia Square, which will not be served on these journeys.
      We would like to apologise for the current disruption to your bus service.

      Due to highways work, Ringers lane in Hingham is currently closed.
      Market Day bus 17 will, upon leaving Hingham (Fairland Green) divert via the B1108 to Kimberley and then the B1135 to Hardingham (Station Road)
      Hardingham Road (Hingham) nor Hardingham village will be served during this time.
      Passengers how normally board at Hingham (Hardingham Road) should use alternative stops on the B1108.

      Due to redevelopment work at Market Gates Bus Station bus stop 'A' is currently closed.
      Buses on route 214 will be using a temporary stop in Howard Street South. The stop outside the Town Hall will also not be served.
      There is no change to the timetable and all other stops away from the Town Centre will be served as normal.
