    St Stephens Street - routes 1, 3, X3, 4, 4A, 6, 84 will not serve bus stops on St Stephens Street from Saturday 8th January for approx 9 months during Transforming Cities work. Please use alternative stops at Norwich Bus Station

    Access to St Stephens Street during the current reconstruction works is available from the Bus Station, by a short walk via either Surrey Street or Queens Road with pedestrian crossings at Surrey Street or outside Chantry Place shopping centre.

    SAHAM TONEY, Pages Lane - road closure - 17th January until 4th March

    Route 11 - Saham Toney, Pages Lane - road closure - 17th January until 4th March Buses will be diverted via B1077 through Saham Toney, serving a temporary bus stop on the Watton side of the Pound Lane junction. Stops at Pages Lane and The Oval will not be served.

    Norwich to Swanton Morley serving N&NU Hospital and Dereham

    Rectory Road, Swanton Morley closed for utility works - Tuesday 4th January until Monday 14th February

    Drainage, footpath and bus stop installation work will take place on Rectory Road for 5 week from Tuesday 4th January. During this time bus will be diverted via Manns Lane and Hoe Road East. Bus stops at Town Street will not be served.

    Eaton to Stalham serving Norwich City Centre, Dussindale and Wroxham

    5B - St Stephens Street - bus stop suspension (updated) from Thursday 13th January

    UPDATED from Thursday 13th January - Route 5B will not serve bus stops on St Stephens Street for approx 9 months during Transforming Cities work. Buses will be diverted to serve the Bus Station, stopping at STAND H on all journeys.

    Thorpe Road, outside Rail Station - from 24th January for approx 4 months

    Routes 5B - Thorpe Road roadworks - from 24th January. Buses towards Wroxham will be diverted via Koblenz Avenue. Thorpe Road bus stop closed, please use stop on Riverside Road (outside Rail Station) Buses towards Eaton not affected.

    CASTLE MEADOW - bus stop relocation - routes 8 (towards Dereham) & Park and Ride 501 & 502

    CASTLE MEADOW - due to transforming cities work in St Stephens Street and subsequent increase in bus stop congestion in Castle Meadow, the bus stop for routes 8 (towards Dereham) and P&R 501/502 (Harford/Thickthorn) will be relocated to outside the Castle Quarter shopping Centre, Castle Meadow entrance and P&R 501/502 (Airport/Sprowston) opposite.

    Thorpe Road, outside Rail Station - from 24th January for approx 4 months

    Route 8 - Thorpe Road roadworks from 24th January - Buses terminating at Thorpe Rail Station will use the bus stop on Riverside (outside Rail Station) , buses towards Dereham will be unaffected and continue to use the bus stop on Thorpe Road

    Shotesham, The Street - emergency closure - until 31st January. Due to water pipe repairs, The Street in Shotesham will be closed. Buses on route 84 will be diverted. The bus stop outside The Globe PH will not be served during this time. Alternative stop located adjacent to the Church.

    Mansfield Lane, Citybound closure - until 1st February - Route 84

    Route 84 - Mansfield Lane - until 1st February. Due to an emergency gas main repair buses on route 84, towards Norwich will be diverted via Trowse village. City Road will continue to be served as normal

    Buses to Thickthorn after 1800hrs are operated by route 8 which departs Castle Meadow [CX] at 1814, 1844, 1914, 2014, 2114 and 2214, and Norwich Bus Station [A] at 1820, 1850, 1920, 2020, 2120 and 2220.
