Roadside publicity update in progress
Ahead of service changes taking place from Sunday 30th March 2025, our publicity team will be updating our roadside bus stop timetables throughout this week.
Please ensure you check the start date when referring to roadside timetables to ensure the correct information is available. Current timetable information is available on our website or by using the bus stop QR codes.
We would like to thank you for your understanding whilst our timetables are being updated.
UPDATED - Routes 4, 4A & 5B - Easton (Dereham Rd) closure - Wednesday 26th until Sunday 30th March 2025
Due to the closure of Dereham Rd in Easton, adjacent to the showground, buses will be on diversion.
In order to serve Easton all buses will enter and leave the village via the A47 roundabout junction.
A one way loop will be served via Bawburgh Rd and Dunham Road.
Passengers who board at Festival Park should wait on the Dereham bound side of the road as the bus will serve this stop after diverting around the loop.
Longwater retail park will be served as normal.
A full timetable will be in operation however because of the length of the diversion route some delays may occur.

UPDATED - Route 85 - Rockland & Surlingham modified service due to closure of Surlingham Lane - Monday 24th until Friday 28th March 2025

Due to the continuing closure of Surlingham Lane and subsequent lack of suitable diversion routes the following modified service will be in operation on route 85.
Surlingham Lane will not be served throughout this closure period.
The 0723 & 0923 Claxton to Norwich and the 1815 Norwich to Claxton will serve Rockland & Surlingham with extended journey times as a result.
At other periods of the day buses will leave Surlingham at 1034, 1234 & 1639 returning from Norwich at 1015, 1215, 1415 & 1615
Buses will leave Rockland at 1150, 1355, 1750 returning from Norwich at 1115, 1315, 1415, 1715

UPDATED - Routes 11B, 502, 717 - Wroxham Road (outbound) closure - Monday 17th February until Friday 28th March 2025
Due to gas main replacement work, Wroxham Road will be closed between The Brickmakers (Ring Rd) roundabout and Cannerby Lane to outbound traffic.
Buses on routes 11B & 717 will be diverted, on journeys towards Sprowston via Mousehold Lane, Salhouse Rd and Falcon Rd East then as normal route to Tesco. Bus stops along Mousehold Lane will be served in lieu of those missed on Wroxham Road
Buses on P&R 502 will be diverted via Constitution Hill, North Walsham Road, Barkers Lane and Church Lane to Wroxham Road.
Buses towards the City Centre will continue to operate normal line of route.

Route 214 - Great Yarmouth Market Gates Bus Station redevelopment - Saturday 6th January until further notice

Due to redevelopment work at Market Gates Bus Station bus stop 'A' is currently closed.
Buses on route 214 will be using a temporary stop in Howard Street South. The stop outside the Town Hall will also not be served.
There is no change to the timetable and all other stops away from the Town Centre will be served as normal.
School bus 6B - Eaton & Cringleford to Hethersett Academy - amended route due to road works - 7th January until further notice

An amended route and timetable is currently in operation on the school bus 6B to Hethersett Academy.
The following pick ups will take place:
Eaton, Cellarhouse - 08:06, Cringleford, Green - 08:10, Colney Lane, Cringleford Heights - 08:15, Roundhouse Way, adjacent to Dragonfly Way (Tesco) - 08:17, Cringleford bus interchange 08:20 and then Hethersett Academy 08:30 - LITTLE MELTON will not be served.
PLEASE NOTE the pick up point at Dragonfly Way is on the TESCO side of the road.
The PM return journeys will follow the same diversion.
These disruptions could affect future journeys
Route 85 - Claxton - Monday 31st March until Saturday 5th April 2025

Continued utility works in the Rockland area will spread to Claxton resulting in the road between Rockland and Claxton being closed.
Unfortunately we will not be able to serve Claxton and buses will terminate at Rocklands.
We can only apologise for the continuing disruption to your bus service whilst theses works are carried out.
Routes 5B (Hethersett Academy) & 6 - Closure of Colney Lane (Hethersett) - 31st March until 1st June 2025
Reconstruction and junction improvement work will take place on Colney Lane between B1172 and Football training ground.
During this closure buses leaving Hethersett Academy in the afternoon will be diverted via Little Melton and watton Road to the N&N Hospital
Journeys on route 6 that serve the N&N Hospital will be diverted via Cringleford bus interchange and Thickthorn roundabout.
Journey times may increase due to the length of the diversion routes.

Route 6 - 19:20 Norwich to Watton - Monday 31st March until Wednesday 2nd April 2025

Due to resurfacing work on the B1172 between Hethersett and Wymondham, this road will be closed after 19:00 each evening.
The 19:20 (6) from Norwich to Watton will, upon leaving the N&N Hospital, divert via Cringleford bus interchange, A11 to Wymondham exit slip road (B1135) re-joining normal route at Wymondham Waitrose.
This journey will not be able to serve Hethersett or stops along Norwich Rd in Wymondham prior to Waitrose roundabout.

Routes 4, 8, 8A, 11, 11A, 21, 22, 23 - Dereham Market Place - Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd April 2025 - 06:00 until 18:00
Due to resurfacing work taking place in Dereham Market Place, the section adjacent to the Cinema and adjoining car park area will be closed.
Bus routes that usually serve the bus stop outside Barclays will be diverted to Cowper Rd (dentist) .
The Market Place will remain open for buses serving the bus stop opposite Lloyds and routes 8/8A (Norwich) 4/11 (Brookes Drive/Sandy Lane), 12 (Highfield Rd/Moorgate) & 13 (Swanton Morley) will operate as normal
This closure is in place until 18:00, evening buses, after 1800, will use normal stops and routes.
