Route 84 - Harleston Town Centre

Route 84 - Harleston Town Centre - due to the closure of London Rd the pick up point for the 06:50 bus to Norwich has been moved to Station Road (outside Millhouse Pottery)

St Stephens Road - towards City - Bus stop suspension.

10th Jun onwards

St Stephens Road - towards City - Bus stop suspension - Due to lane closures the bus stop on St Stephens Road (towards City Centre) has been suspended. Buses on routes 3, 4, 5B & 6 will stop at Brunswick Road or Bus Station only. The outbound stop (towards Newmarket Rd) will remain open.

Ipswich Road (Citybound)

6th Jun onwards

1 & 502 - Ipswich Road (Citybound) - 6th June until September 2022 - due to junction work Ipswich Road will be closed between City College and St Stephens Rd. Buses on route 1, will divert between Ring Rd and Bus Station via Hall Road. 502 will also divert via Hall Road. Passengers for City College alight at Southwell Road

St Stephens Street - bus stop suspension

8th Jan onwards

St Stephens Street - routes 1, 3, X3, 4, 4A, 6, 84 will not serve bus stops on St Stephens Street from Saturday 8th January for approx 9 months during Transforming Cities work. Please use alternative stops at Norwich Bus Station.

Routes 11B and 5B will continue to serve Castle Meadow and also Norwich Bus Station (stand F for route 11B and stand H for route 5B on all journeys).

Access to St Stephens Street during the current reconstruction works is available from the Bus Station, by a short walk via either Surrey Street or Queens Road with pedestrian crossings at Surrey Street or outside Chantry Place shopping centre.

Castle Meadow - bus stop relocation

8th Jan onwards

CASTLE MEADOW - due to transforming cities work in St Stephens Street and subsequent increase in bus stop congestion in Castle Meadow, the bus stop for routes 8 (towards Dereham) and P&R 501/502 (Harford/Thickthorn) will be relocated to outside the Castle Quarter shopping Centre, Castle Meadow entrance and P&R 501/502 (Airport/Sprowston) opposite.

Later buses to Thickthorn

1st Nov onwards

From 1st November 2021, buses to Thickthorn after 1800hrs are operated by route 8 which departs Castle Meadow [CX] at 1814, 1844, 1914, 2014, 2114 and 2214, and Norwich Bus Station [A] at 1820, 1850, 1920, 2020, 2120 and 2220.
