Where's My Bus? - Wymondham

On Friday 16th February, Konectbus held the first 'Where's my bus?' community engagement event in Wymondham Methodist Church. This event targeted primarily concessionary pass holders in Wymondham who have the ability to use either the Konectbus number 6 serving Watton and Norwich, the 6A serving Norwich via Hethersett, or the 501 Thickthorn Park and Ride into Norwich City Centre.

The focus was to encourage the residents of Wymondham to download the Konectbus mobile app and educate them on how to use it to plan journeys, track buses and access service updates. The event was very well-attended and our team were met with great enthusiasm, particularly at the prospect of using other buses on our network to have Great Days Out by Bus across the region for free with a concessionary pass over the spring and summer. According to Paul, who kindly helped us organise the event: 'Everybody found it a helpful, instructive and encouraging experience'.

This event marks the first of our Where's My Bus? events, which we will be organising across our Konectbus and Hedingham and Chambers networks. They will take place on a monthly basis, so keep an eye on our website to attend an event near you this year!
