Students: Getting in the Fast Lane

Students Park and Ride

Don’t go through hell to beat the school bell! Get in the Fast Lane with Norwich Park and Ride.

Parents: Are you sick of the city centre school run?

Get yourself out of gridlock at the school gates by dropping the kids off at one of the 5 conveniently located sites dotted around the city centre. Whichever direction you’re approaching from, there’s a Park and Ride site near you! What’s more, with the benefit of bus lanes, they will get there faster!

Not only can you swerve the city centre standstill in the morning, you can still watch your children board the bus safely and collect them stress-free in the afternoon without picking up a parking fine!

Did you know? Children under 17 will pay no more than £1.50 per day, and if you’re dropping off more than one child, the others will only pay £1!

Plus, giving children the opportunity to experience bus travel is a brilliant way of supporting their independence and building confidence so that they will develop the knowledge and know-how to embark on their next steps as they grow up! Check out our Generation Go page for more information.

Park and Ride is also brilliant for young drivers! If you are aged 17-19 and attend college or work in the city centre, you can save money, stress and time by using Park and Ride. Tickets for 17–19-year-olds cost only £2 for the day and, again, accompanying passengers pay just £1. It pays to car-share and travel by public transport – and it’s much better for the environment, keeping air quality cleaner in the city centre!

So use your brain and get in the Fast Lane with Norwich Park and Ride!
