3 term bus pass

This pass gives you sound peace of mind that your bus travel is sorted for the whole academic year. What’s more you can use your ticket at the weekends and school holidays so you can meet up with your friends, hang out in the city or do a bit of shopping. With this ticket, you can sit back and relax, knowing you need not spend anything again on travel until this time next year. Valid until 21st July 2021

1 term bus pass

Starting college can sometimes be an uncertain time so this pass allows you to get your student timetable sorted and work out how often you will need to catch the bus. Once it expires, get back in touch and we’ll suggest the best way to upgrade your bus pass to cover you for the rest of the year. Valid until the 18th December 2021. Not valid at weekends or in school holidays.

  • The cityZone includes Norwich, Long Stratton, Eaton, Easton, Wroxham, Salhouse, Rackheath, Dussindale, Wymondham and Stoke Holy Cross - click here for full details.
  • The Anywhere zone covers all Konectbus routes including Diss, Shipdham, Watton, Hingham, Swanton Morley, Dereham, Mattishall, Stalham, Swaffham, Great Massingham, Litcham, North Elmham, Gressenhall, Beetley, Caston and Griston - click here for full details.
  • The Straight8 termly tickets are valid on the Straight8 (Toftwood - Dereham - Norwich) only.

Park & Ride

Harford and Sprowston Park & Ride stop very close to City College. Airport and Thickthorn Park & Ride stop at Norwich Bus Station which is a 10 minute walk away. These buses operate regularly every 15 minutes. Head to our Park & Ride webpage to view bus times, maps and ticket offers. A weekly ticket is £7.40 and a 10 day ticket is £14.70 for 16-19 year olds (no ID required). 

cityZone and Anywhere tickets (including termly bus passes) are valid on Norwich Park & Ride routes.

You can choose a mobile ticket or a paper ticket when you buy a bus pass with us.

To purchase your:

  • Mobile ticket – Download the East Anglia Buses app (mobile ticket) and select Scholar tickets from the ticket options on the screen. Then follow the instructions to complete your payment. Once approved, your pass will appear in the "tickets" option on the App.
  • Paper ticketorder online (from 17 Aug) or over the desk at Norwich Bus Station. Alternatively, you can call our customer service team on 03300 539358.

If you opt for a 3 term paper ticket pass, a passport photo will be required to validate your card.

Please Note - Straight 8 passes can ONLY be purchased on the App,

Anywhere and cityZone can be bought on the App, online or at Norwich Bus Station.

Sometimes these things happen so don’t panic.  Call us on 03300539358 and we will arrange a replacement pass to be sent out to you. Please be aware that replacement passes will be charged an administration fee of £10 and you can pay over the phone or in person at the bus station.  To help avoid losing your pass, we encourage you to buy your ticket on our App and should the worse happen and you lose your phone, we can deactivate and reactivate your ticket once your new phone arrives. 

Are Your Buses Safe to Travel On?

We fully understand your concerns about safety when travelling on our buses but we reassure you that your safety comes first.

You must wear a face covering when you travel with us, unless you are exempt and we encourage you to bring hand santiser to use before and after your journey.  Please note that if you choose not to wear a face covering and are unable to confirm that  you are exempt, the police can fine you up to £100 for breaching the law. 

We also ask that you follow the following rules when travelling to help keep you safe

At the bus stop

  • whilst queuing try to keep 2 metres apart from anyone not in your household or social bubble.
  • board one at a time, be patient and give priority to those with mobility issues.

On the bus 

  • please travel upstairs or sit with other passengers in your college or year group, leaving enough room for other passengers to be social distanced elsewhere.
  • keep windows open to help with ventilation.
  • use a face covering to protect our drivers and your fellow passengers.

As you leave the bus

  • don’t approach within 2 metres of the driver until the bus has stopped 
  • use your hand sanitiser and/or wash your hands, before you touch your face.
  • maintain social distancing as you move through the bus shelter or bus station.
