    • Route 4 - Swanton Road (Dereham) closure - Wednesday 2nd October until Friday 13th December 2024

      2nd Oct 2024 - 13th Dec 2024

      Due to road reconstruction work, Swanton Road in Dereham will be closed between the railway crossing and Northall Green.
      Buses on route 4 will be diverted between Swanton Morley and Dereham via B1147, Etling Green and Norwich Road in both directions.
      To maintain reliability on the whole route the following alterations to bus stops within Dereham town centre will take place:
      ALL departures towards Mattishall/Norwich will be from COWPER ROAD only then Yaxham Road (Halfords) and normal route thereafter.
      ALL buses towards Swanton Morley will continue to serve Market Place.
      Bus stops in Swanton Road and Station Road will not be served during this closure.
      We would like to apologize for any disruption to your bus service during these works.

    • Routes 11B & 502 - peak period diversion due to congestion at Magdalen Gates

      27th Nov 2024 onwards

      Following the closure of Waterloo Road for junction improvement works, displaced traffic using Magdalen Road has caused significant peak period delays. In order to prevent disruption to buses coming from Sprowston the following journeys on the 11B & 502 will be diverted between Sprowston Road and Upper King Street via Silver Road, Bull Close Road and Palace Street. These are the 08:45 (11B) Sprowston Tesco to City Centre and the 08:05, 08:25, 08:45 & 09:05 (502) Sprowston P&R to City Centre
      A temporary bus stop will be located on Bull Close Road in lieu of Anglia Square, which will not be served on these journeys.
      We would like to apologise for the current disruption to your bus service.
