Dereham 5k Race
Sunday 20th August 9am-11am - Affecting services 8 and 11. The 9am service 11 to Watton will leave promptly at 9am before the Market Place is closed. The 9:16am service 8 from Toftwood will operate as far as London Road library, leaving at 9:35am using Baxter Row and picking up the A47 at Roys. This journey will not serve Norwich Road or Eckling Grange. All other journeys will operate as normal.
Woodbaswick Road - Blofield Heath
From 21st August to 8th September. Affecting service 5A. Due to utility work, Woodbaswick Road will be closed during this period. The buses will operate on the following diversion: from Norwich or Pilson Green, it will operate as normal to Ranworth Road, then Pedham Road, Bonds Road, Woodbastwick Road. It will terminate at the junction before the bus shelter. To Norwich it will go via Mill Road and Ranworth Road (reverse of normal route) to Blofield surgery. Journeys to Pilson Green operate as normal to Woodbastwick Road and then via Bonds Road to Pedham.
Cringleford Road Closures - 50A
Monday 22nd May until further notice (approx 3 months) Due to various road closures and restrictions associated with Cringleford bridge and highway reconstruction works, the following diversion will be in place on service 50A. Buses from City Centre will operate as normal to Cringleford bridge then continue to Keswick Road, turn right into Cantley Land and operate in the opposite way from normal around Brettingham Avenue (stopping opposite existing bus stops), turn left into Keswick Road, left onto the A11, turn at Roundhouse Roundabout before using Cringleford Bypass to pick up Newmarket Road back towards the city Centre. Throughout this period Intwood Road, Eaton Red Lion and Eaton Slip Road (citybound) will not be served.
Dereham - Quebec Road
Monday 31st July for 2 weeks - Affecting service 18 & 21. Due to road resurfacing work taking place at Quebec Road in Dereham the road will be closed. Buses on the 18 and 21 will divert via Sandy Lane both ways on all journeys. The bus stop at Quebec Hall will not be served during this time.
From Wednesday 6 September 2017 route 53C (Old Catton - Spixworth - Broadland High School) will omit Frettenham. This change is due to the expected increase in students from the Old Catton/Spixworth area. Alternative transport from Frettenham is provided by Norfolk County Council bus 6. Revised fares will be in operation on route 53C.53C times & fares
From Sunday 17 September 2017 there will be some timetable revisions to the following routes; 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 5C, 6, X6, 8, 9 and 12. These changes are aimed to improve punctuality, enhance the Konectbus network and meet demand. More information will be available shortly.
