Konectbus extends routes to Stalham

From 23 April 2019 Konectbus will plug the gap left by the withdrawal of Sanders Coaches route X11. Konectbus route 5B will be extended to serve Ludham, Catfield, Sutton, Stalham and Smallburgh. Konectbus will also offer a fast morning commuter journey into Norwich from Stalham (route 502 via Sprowston Park & Ride) and an afternoon return journey.

From 23 April beyond Wroxham route 5B buses will operate a clockwise loop and an anti-clockwise loop back to Wroxham. Every 2 hours buses will operate anticlockwise Wroxham - Horning - Ludham - Catfield - Sutton - Stalham - Smallburgh - Hoveton - Wroxham, and every 2 hours buses will operate clockwise Wroxham - Hoveton - Smallburgh - Stalham - Sutton - Catfield - Ludham - Horning- Wroxham. This will mean Ludham, Catfield and Sutton will now have regular daytime buses 6 days a week linking these villages with Wroxham and Norwich City Centre. A consequence of this change is journey times will vary between Horning/Hoveton and Wroxham depending on the route taken.

Konectbus route 502 will offer a commuter fast journey which will depart Stalham at 0725 and Wroxham at 0740, arriving into Norwich Bus Station at 0815. A return express journey will depart at Norwich Bus Station at 1748. Route 502 is a Norwich Park & Ride route which will be extended beyond Sprowston Park & Ride to Stalham so the bus will be green instead of blue.
