KONECTBUS ACHIEVES HIGH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SCORE

Konectbus has received a 94% customer satisfaction score in the national Bus Passenger Survey in Autumn 2018, 1% up on the previous year and placing us in the top five bus operators in the country.

Despite challenges late last year with vehicle availability, roadworks and major road incidents, Konectbus employees have strived to deliver an excellent service which is acknowledged in the satisfaction score.

Konectbus Managing director Jeremy Cooper said, ‘I’m extremely proud of the commitment from the team to provide a personal and professional service in difficult circumstances late last year. I am also grateful to our loyal passengers who continue to choose Konectbus as their method of transport.’   

The research was conducted by Passenger Focus, the industry’s independent watchdog. In Autumn 2018 nearly 50,000 passengers were consulted nationally. The survey provides reliable information about what passengers think about their bus services. Konectbus paid for the survey along with other bus operators. Geographically the closest participating operator was First Essex who received a 78% overall satisfaction score.

Konectbus is owned by The Go Ahead Group plc which operates bus and trains in the UK and overseas. In the last year the company has started a driving school training new recruits to obtain their PSV licence. New for 2019 is the ability for the company to offer periodic Drivers CPC training in-house to employees with PSV licences. Further investment is due at Konectbus later this year with the arrival of new ticket machines which can take contactless payments, making using the bus even more convenient.
