March and April Service Updates

This route will run between Rackheath and Norwich St Stephens Street via Salhouse Road and Barrack Street. **Click here to view the new timetable**

This route is supported by Norfolk County Council as part of their Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), and is funded by the UK Government.

City 5 also further enhances route 5B ( Broads Bus), to offer more buses to Rackheath with more evening and Sunday services. 

This route will replace the Norwich to Eaton section of the 5B.

Riverside Retail Park will also be served on most journeys. Some weekday and all Sunday services will terminate at Norwich Bus Station.

Both routes will be extended to serve Diss Rail Station from 31st March.

There will also be some small changes to the timetable to improve punctuality, which can be viewed here.

Route 3 will run up to every 2 hours, with an hours earlier arrival and later departure at Norwich and residents in Barnham Broom will also have a bus on a sunday, the first time in many decades,  providing all villages on route 3 with a bus 7 days a week.

Small timetable changes to address punctuality 

On schooldays, the 14:58 Dereham to Norwich journey will terminate at Mattishall Church. ***View the timetable***

To improve reliability, this route will operate between Stalham and Norwich Bus Station only with a redesigned timetable.

The Norwich to Eaton section of this route has been replaced by the new 6B route. Details can be found above  ***View the timetable***

New Sunday journeys added between Dereham and Watton all of which will now continue to Norwich as Route 3.   ***View the timetable***
