Konectbus raises money for Dereham Cancer Care

As the holiday season approaches, there's always a flurry of activities - wrapping presents, preparing for work, and buying heaps of food, much of which is consumed before Christmas Day! Amidst this hustle and bustle, it's easy to forget about the broader community. This year, the Konectbus Dereham Depot team took a moment to give back by hosting a festive bake-off in support of Dereham Cancer Care.

The team enjoyed a variety of treats, including sausage rolls, cakes, cookies, and mince pies. Through their generosity, the Dereham depot raised £90.67, which was donated to Dereham Cancer Care. This local charity provides crucial support to individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families in the area.

Zoe Flint, Manager at Dereham Cancer Care, remarked:

'This money is the equivalent of a weeks rent for Dereham Cancer Care, and will help us to keep providing crucial services.'

Davina Langley, Head of Marketing and Commercial for Konectbus, added:

"This time of year can be particularly challenging for many, especially those who have lost loved ones around Christmas. As a local business, we wanted to support a charity that does so much for people living with cancer and their families. Dereham Cancer Care is a wonderful organisation that offers tremendous support to our community, and we are proud to contribute to their efforts."
