Konectbus at Dereham Pride 2024

On Saturday 6th July, our team attended the annual Dereham Does Pride Event in the gardens of the King’s Head Pub in Dereham. There was a good turn-out despite the wet and soggy conditions (July, eh?!) and it was great to meet so many people of all ages who appreciate the Dereham town services and 4 and 8 into Norwich.

As always, we were on hand to provide information about our local routes, the Great Days Out By Bus and rewards partners that Dereham residents can take advantage of over the summer, and to spread the pride positivity by promoting Konectbus as a an inclusive employer committed to providing a safe space for our diverse passengers and staff.

We had lots of prizes up for grabs on our spinning wheel game, including sweets, jelly beans, and Family Day tickets, which are perfect for great days out in the summer holidays. We also provided useful information on using our mobile app to plan journeys and track buses and handed out information on joining our wonderful team as a driver or engineer!

It was great to see so many of you there and we hope you all had a wonderful day! We love getting out and about in the communities we serve and we look forward to seeing you at Norwich Bus Station on 27th June to coincide with Norwich Pride!
