Konectbus Supports Bereaved Families with Heartfelt Donation
1 month ago

The team at Konectbus recently welcomed Gary Stevens from Nelson’s Journey to present him with a cheque for £445 — funds raised through the latest colleague engagement survey.
As part of the initiative, colleagues were invited to nominate a local charity to receive a £5 donation for every completed survey. Nelson’s Journey was chosen in recognition of the incredible work they do to support children and young people who have experienced the loss of someone significant in their lives.
Nelson’s Journey provides vital services to help young people navigate bereavement. This includes practical advice for families and schools on how to talk about the person who has passed away, as well as fostering a supportive community where individuals can share their experiences. Their online resources offer further guidance to those coping with grief.
Konectbus remains committed to supporting local communities by providing essential transport connections across the region. With East Anglia’s rural landscape often making travel challenging, Konectbus plays a crucial role in keeping people connected.
Gary Stevens, Funding and Marketing Manager at Nelson’s Journey, said:
“It is thanks to the support of the local community that our work is possible. We’re so grateful for Konectbus donation and support. Their fundraising really goes a long way in helping us to continue providing our services to support bereaved children and young people in Norfolk.”
Davina Langley, Head of Marketing and Commercial at Konectbus, said:
